Course Overview

CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) saves lives. Statistics show that the earlier CPR is initiated, the greater the chances of survival. In fact, 100,000 to 200,000 lives of adults and children could be saved each year if CPR were performed early enough. (according to the Heart Association estimates) AED’s (automated external defibrillators) are proven to save lives and are therefore an invaluable addition to health and safety provision for your employees. The course will also teach defibrillator operators on how to perform effective CPR.

Sadly, 70 per cent of people may feel helpless to act during a cardiac emergency because they either do not know how to administer CPR or their training has significantly lapsed. This alarming statistic could hit close to home because home is exactly where 88 per cent of cardiac arrests occur.
A casualty’s survival rate will dramatically increase if an AED is available and if you have appropriately qualified personnel to use it.
