Workshop Duration

Candidates normally attend the development centre for one day.

Typical Components of an Assessment Centre:

All our leadership development assessment centres are designed and aligned with the organisational leadership behavioural competencies, while the choice of development activities is informed through discussion and input from the sponsor. These include:

Psychometric Assessment
• May focus on aptitude, personality, resilience and business reasoning, or a combination depending on developmental requirements

Case Study and Presentation
• Involves complex analysis of a related business problem followed by a presentation of key findings and recommendations

Role Play(s)
• Depending on client focus, but scenarios may include internal or external role play

Competency Based Interview (CBI)
• A focused set of questions designed by the sponsor to allow candidates to provide evidence of how they meet the competencies, with examples

• Observed assessment involving a group of candidates working together on a problem

All of our courses are Ofqual regulated Level 2 and Level 3 First Aid qualifications

Numbers and Target Audience:

Aspiring and current leaders being considered for leadership roles and advancement. Assessment centre numbers are dependent on requirements and complexity.

Pre-Work:

Candidates required to complete a number of self-assessments prior to attending the assessment centre.

Location:

As agreed with project sponsor, normally held away from the candidate’s place of work
